Instead I will replace them with healthier ones for example I will eat fruits instead of cupcakes and ice cream for dessert,  and drink water instead of cola and sweet juices.

My family dine out 4-5 times monthly, this can be unhealthy even when trying to chose healthier options. The plan is to decrease restaurant eating to 3 times a month. 1. The nutritional information is not always available, or it can be inaccurate. 2. Portions are almost always larger. 3. I have control of the nutritional value of food when I prepare it.

I will work to eat 3-5 servings of fruits/veggies each day, and work on eating out less.

Added by Corie Smith Blog Commitment to Nutrition 03/04/2019

I am going to stop making excuses for why I don't eat healthfully. If my options are junk or go hungry, I will go hungry until I can choose something healthful. I have had a minor health concern in the last year and friends with major health concerns, so it is time to make better choices.
