Since moving into an office position from clinical nurse, I have stopped making my daily step commitment of 10K steps daily. My goal by July is to gradually increase my steps by 1000 steps monthly, as I currently am lucky to get 5K steps in.

I commit to: Do aerobic/ cardio/ outdoor activities 3 times a week for the next 12 weeks Do weight 2 week for the next 12 weeks Do yoga/ stretch exercise once a week for the next 12 weeks

I will follow my physical therapy guidelines diligently for 1 month, increasing my activities as allowed.

I commit to walking the talk. I educate my patients about the importance of being physically active and yet I haven't been consistent in exercising. I commit to finding time to exercise 30 minutes most days doing a variety of activities.

I am going to incorporate a daily exercise program into my life.  I would like to go hiking 4-5 times a week and lift weights 3 times a week.

Not necessarily by exercising (though that's best!) but just by small movements throughout the day. Do that extra load of laundry, take the stairs, park a little further away from the store, do a set of squats while brushing teeth. The little things add up too, and it's easier to fit into a busy day.
